Postgraduate International Process Engineering School (PIPES)

The programme is designed for students working on a dissertation. They offer

• two supervisors
• a timetable for the dissertation after six months
• a milestone report after the first and second year
• an accompanying programme with courses that develop technical, language and management skills
• student discussion groups for dissertation issues

The PIPES programme is designed to provide a comprehensive qualifiction for a leading position in process and plant engineering, construction and management. Typical employers are international companies operating in chemical engineering, the food industry, power plant engineering, environmental technology or building service, but also universities, patent offices or research institutes.

The main focus of the course is the independent work on a project under the supervision of experienced professors at the Technical University of Berlin. The students must develop their solutions and present and discuss them with colleagues and at meetings and conferences. The programme emphasises intercultural competence and management skills.

Graduates have the ability to
