This conference marks the 20th anniversary of the special issue of Annals of Tourism Research (1991, Vol 18, No.1) entitled: Tourism Social Science. The main aim of the conference is to revisit this theme by inviting papers to consider advances in tourism social science, which are theoretically grounded in one or more of the core social sciences including:

- development studies

- linguistics
- management science
- philosophy
- political science
- psychology
- sociology
Important Dates
- Submission Deadline: 15th December 2010
- EXTENSION: New Submission Deadline: 24th January 2011
- Confirmation of paper acceptance: 1st February 2011
- Optional submission of full paper: 1st May 2011
The conference takes place in an academic setting at the attractive Surrey Campus with plenty of on-site accommodation and easy access to LHR, LGW and Central London.
