Better understanding of the implications of global learning is an important element in the contemporary scholarship of Learning and Teaching. Our Learning Global conference is designed to provide a forum in which effective, evidence-informed practice can be shared and debated. We hope to have one of our keynote presentations delivered by an international expert via video conferencing.
The Learning Global conference will be organised around four themes:
The conference provides an opportunity to present research papers, interactive workshops and posters and for developing discussions about the significance of Learning Global to effective Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. Submissions are welcomed from all involved in Learning and Teaching, both those with significant experience in this area, and those who are new to Higher Education.
Pre-conference event
On Tuesday 10 May, from 1-6pm, there will be an event showcasing the findings from the Higher Education Academy's three year National Teaching Fellow project, led by Dr David Burnapp, Senior Lecturer, the University of Northampton. Complementing the conference themes, it will feature workshops and presentations which will explore the recommendations around effective international collaborative projects.
This is open for all Learning Global presenters to attend.
