A conference for Vice-Chancellors, Principals and Pro Vice-Chancellors and senior managers such as Academic Secretaries, Registrars, Directors of Student Services and Marketing.
This conference will explore a number of the developing themes and policies at national level that impact on institutions' strategies and planning to support a quality undergraduate applicant and student experience.
It will examine the management and business processes of student recruitment, widening inclusion and admissions processes within the changing HE landscape, through a number of keynote presentations, a panel discussion and input from participants on their current views and forward thinking.
Managing Change: Improving entry to HE, a strategic level conference addressing current developing issues in the applicant experience and entry to HE.
Themes will include:
- Social mobility and lifelong learning
How will the various initiatives througout the UK on social mobility impact on admissions, student recruitment and widening inclusion? How does this relate to changes with regard to qualifications for entry, the role of vocational qualifications and part-time students?
- Strategic management and integration
How can admissions, student recruitment and widening inclusion/access be integrated within the strategies and vision of an institution?
- System support admissions
How can the web, social networking and your own information systems support your strategy and business processes?
