You are invited to the Private View and Awards Ceremony of this year's westPHOTO Photography Prize.
The 3rd Annual westPHOTO Photography Prize is open to undergraduates, graduates and alumni students of the University of Westminster. Similar to last year, they will have fantastic prizes and all shortlisted entries will be exhibited. WestPHOTO invited current and past students at The University of Westminster to submit images that are personal, professional, educational, sociable, or otherwise to investigate sustainability.
They welcome all to engage with the photography and theme of Sustainability, all taking place at a previous concrete testing site, Ambika P3, London.
westPHOTO strives to give Westminster students new opportunities to promote their work, and to develop their skills ready for graduation and beyond. Since it’s launch westPHOTO has grown into a fully fledged picture agency and library, managed and run by students at the University.
Every year it’s Photography Prize has gained more notoriety - last years competition, sponsored by Grafi che Antiga, was exhibited in an east London gallery accompanied with a hardback fine art catalogue of all shortlisted finalists. They had a record number of entrants last year and they hope to have even more this time.
