Expand your understanding of how the brain learns and take-away forward thinking, practical strategies you can implement in your own classrooms.
The events are organised by a collaboration of schools in Macclesfield, Cheshire and the conference and workshops have a proud history of success. Influential speakers from the USA and Europe are combined with top UK strategists to offer delegates a unique and practical experience.
Knowledge about how the brain learns has advanced considerably in recent years and increased awareness has forced us to challenge traditional models of teaching, learning and school organisation.
The 2011 conference will differ from previous years whereby speakers will present a number of 45 minute taster sessions specifically designed for its target group. The conference format will be based on a Track system, Track 1 & Track 2. Track
1 is for all first-time attendees at Learning Brain Europe and the sessions will focus on core principles of brain-friendly teaching techniques. Track 2 is for teachers who have attended Learning Brain Europe in previous years and will introduce new speakers and advanced sessions on the implementation of brain-friendly teaching in the classroom. The Track system is flexible and you are welcome to attend Taster Sessions in either Track 1 or Track 2.
