Westminster Education Forum Keynote Seminar: Social mobility and education: improving life chances, raising aspiration and widening access to the professions

Following on from the release of Government's social mobility strategy, Opening Doors, Breaking Barriers, in April 2011, this timely seminar will provide delegates with an opportunity to engage with key policymakers in this area ahead of the publication of the first annual Social Mobility and Child Poverty Report in Spring 2012. We expect sessions to consider the role of schools, parents and employers in raising aspiration amongst young people, the potential impact of Government's school reforms on social mobility and ensuring fair access to universities, internships and the professions.
