About the programme

This degree provides a detailed and critical understanding of the crucial role finance plays in contemporary business. It provides both a general overview of Business Studies and distinct expertise in the operation and management of financial resources.

You cover the concepts that are vital to any organisation, including producing output/service, managing business and fiscal resources, analysing the impact of external factors on performance and profitability and trends in global finance. This degree prepares you for a broad range of roles and develops critical, analytical and numerical understanding – making it an ideal launch-pad for a career in business or postgraduate study.

Admission requirments

• 200 UCAS tariff points or equivalent
• Pass in a recognised Access Course or International Foundation Programme
• In addition to the above, they require GCSE Maths grade C and English grade C or equivalents, unless competency is part of the qualification gained.
• They also welcome mature student applicants and those with relevant professional and vocational qualifications, and these will be dealt with on an individual basis and may require an interview.
• In the case of applicants whose first language is not English, then IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) is required.
