Educational requirements: BSc degree from a recognised university, in a discipline relevant to the programme.
Professional experience required: Several years of work experience is recommended.
Language requirements: TOEFL (minimum score: 550); IELTS (minimum score: 6.0)
Other requirements: A reasonable working knowledge of mathematics and good computer skills.
Objectives: On completion participants are able to analyze and solve problems and use remote sensing and geographic information sytems, in support of decision making on sustainable use and management of resources.
Subjects: Natural resources management; remote sensing; geographic information systems; in-depth study in a chosen field of resource management; multi-disciplinary project; final assignment.
Modes of instruction: Lectures & practical exercises, self-study, multi-disciplinary project work and hands-on case studies, fieldwork, discussion groups & assignments.
