The programme focuses on
- Theory of acquisition, analysis, fusion, compression, and visualisation of spatially referenced data of the newest and highest quality
- Geographical Information Systems (GIS), geo-database systems, and data modelling
- Earth system and planetary research as well as high precision navigation and positioning
- Geodetic sensor technology, data analysis, object motion, and deformation analysis
- Digital image processing, automatic image analysis, and remote sensing
The target group for the Master's programme are national and international students who have achieved a Bachelor's degree. Candidates will gain the qualification to work as project managers, high level experts, decision makers and leading scientists in various disciplines, such as geoinformatics, space geodesy and navigation, engineering surveying, data adjustment, and computer vision and remote sensing.
