Educational requirements: BSc degree from a recognized university in a relevant field of study.

Professional experience required: Preferably work experience in a field related to geoinformatics.

Language requirements: TOEFL (minimum score: 550); IELTS (minimum score: 6.0), Michigan = 75.

Objectives: To achieve critical understanding and competence in the development of systems for the acquisition, processing, tranformation, extraction, storage, presentation and/or use of geo-information.

Subjects: Common concepts and theory of geo-informatics technology, e.g. computer science; remote sensing; geographic information systems; cartographic visualization and geo-information management; MSc research work.

Modes of instruction: Lectures, exercises, pratical assignments, workshops, individual & group assignments, elective modules and a 6-month research period.

Fellowships: Indonesian nationals and residents from Latin America can respectively apply for STUNED and Alban fellowships as well.
