Educational requirements: Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in geosciences, engineering, physics, environmental sciences, or relevant disciplines.
Language requirements: TOEFL (minimum score: 580 (paper test) or 237 (computer test).); IELTS (minimum score: 6.5. (6.0 for the writing module).), Cambridge EFL Advanced English: B; Cambridge EFL Proficiency in English: C.
Objectives: The focus of this Master's programme is to provide a firm basis for the systematic and scientific study of the system Earth using advanced models. The students will complete part of their programme at a foreign partner university where a co-supervisor will contribute to the MSc research programme.
Subjects: Possible areas of specialisation within the Master’s programme System Earth Modelling are: biogeology; geochemistry; geology; geophysics; hydrology; physical geography.
Modes of instruction: Seminar courses; research.
