Biomedical Science: University of the West of England

Introduction

The University of the West of England is recognised nationally and internationally as one of the leading centres for education and research in Biomedical Science.

Students undertaking the DBMS will be members of the Graduate School which will provide designated work areas, networked library access and research seminars from leading researchers in Biomedicine and other subjects. The course has been developed as a part-time route and is designed specifically for practitioners within Biomedical Science.

Entry requirements

Applicants normally have one of the following:

• A good first degree or equivalent plus

either

• MSc in Biomedical Science or related subject
• IBMS Fellowship examination
• Other relevant experience and demonstrated abilities deemed equivalent by the programme team to either of the above

and

• The candidate must be actively engaged as a practi
