Description

The BSc Clinical photography at the school of Media, Arts and Design combines the study of science, photography, digital imaging, anatomy, physiology, biology and clinical practice. A substantial element of the course involves work-based learning in a clinical setting. This is achieved through a significant number of hours of work placement in a variety of relevant specialisms throughout the three years of the course.

The course has been designed for delivery from the School of Media, Arts and Design in Harrow in collaboration with the School of Biosciences and the School of Integrated Health, both based in Central London. As well as having the advantage of the variety of specialisms, teaching and expertise of the different departments involved, it will also gain from the input of a number of different research groups.

The course is also supported by an MSc in Digital and Photographic Imaging and a PhD programme in Imaging Science. The facilities, experience and expertise available within the School place the university in an excellent position to deliver a specialised course in Clinical Photography.
