  • genetic and molecular basis of neurological and psychiatric diseases
  • neuropharmacology
  • microscopy and molecular imaging techniques
  • tissue culture and tissue engineering.

The two laboratory rotations and the Master's thesis can be done in labs of the students choice.

The research-oriented Master's course provides state-of-the-art theoretical and practical training in basic and clinical neuroscience. Students who complete the Master's course successfully are ideally prepared to pursue a demanding doctoral project in one of the research laboratories in Tübingen.

Description of Content(Ph.D):

  • Students take courses on transferable skills, advanced neuroscience and methods courses, make excursions to research institutions and companies and participate in summer schools, seminars and international meetings.
