Courses include lectures on

functional neuroanatomy
sensory and motor systems
neurophysiology
cellular and molecular biology of neurons
neurochemistry
neurogenetics
developmental neurobiology
genetic and molecular basis of neurological and psychiatric diseases
neuropharmacology
microscopy and molecular imaging techniques
tissue culture and tissue engineering.

The two laboratory rotations and the Master's thesis can be done in labs of the students choice.

The research-oriented Master's course provides state-of-the-art theoretical and practical training in basic and clinical neuroscience. Students who complete the Master's course successfully are ideally prepared to pursue a demanding doctoral project in one of the research laboratories in Tübingen.

Description of Content(Ph.D):

Students take courses on transferable skills, advanced neuroscience and methods courses, make excursions to research institutions and companies and participate in summer schools, seminars and international meetings.
