About the programme

The Master of Science Programme in International Health raises awareness of global health concerns and allows students to identify and analyse key factors shaping the health and well-being of populations.

As a multidisciplinary approach it combines Public Health, Epidemiology, Tropical Medicine, Economics, and Management Sciences, among others. In practice, International Health provides the promotion of health, i.e. prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation but also strengthening health systems and informing policy.

Entry requirements

  • Completion of a 3½ -year Bachelor's programme (210 ECTS credits) in a health-related field (see above-mentioned professions
  • Internationally recognised English proficiency certificate equivalent to a TOEFL score of 550/213/80 or IELTS score 6
  • Applicants with professional experience in a health-related profession in low or middle-income countries will be preferentially admitted.
