Most of the things you see around you everyday are made through chemical processes. Medicines, make up, paints, gadgets, gasoline, energy - not to mention food and drink. To produce them, the world’s biggest multinationals rely on people with the kind of skills you’ll develop on our Bachelor’s of Process and Food Technology programme.
They offer a four-year programme, as well as a fast track three-year intensive course, in Process and Food Technology.
Every year is divided into 2 semesters, and each semester into terms. You’ll be assessed at the end of each term in some way – by a test, report, project or presentation. You’ll be marked on how well you work as part of a group, too.
Depending on the level of your previous education, you can enrol in either the 3-year or the 4-year programme.
If you have a non-Dutch diploma
They’ll need to assess your secondary school certificate, before they decide on your eligibility. To make sure your certificate is judged fairly, they work together with NUFFIC, an organisation specialised in comparing international qualifications.
One of the eligibility criteria is that you passed your exams in the following subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, and preferably biology.
English language skills
In case you do not hold an English secondary school diploma (diploma granted in a non EEA country) or you have not taken English as an exam subject (diploma granted in the EEA) prior to your enrolment for an English Bachelor programme, you must show an IELTS or TOEFL test. Contrary to what Studielink tells you, you have to register for this test yourself.
