Research Programmes

  • DPhil and MSc by Research

The Department is responsible for teaching Epidemiology and Public Health to postgraduates specialising in these fields. Present research interests of members of the Department include HIV and global health, the prevention of heart disease, nutrition and health, health economics, the uses of medical information systems, occupational health, patient-assessed health outcomes and many aspects of health services research.
