Theories and Methods of Global History:
- Sound theoretical, methodological and wissenschaftsgeschichtliche training, in the diversity, the historicity and the different regional traditions of theoretical approaches and the prospects for a globalgeschichtliche spectrum of methods necessary imports.
World regions in the global history:
- You choose two world regions as priority regions. The course is offered in close cooperation with the regional and cultural studies designed.
Topics of the Global History:
- You choose two issues as priority issues. These priorities will enable at least two regions of the world comparisons and relations between them.
Self-employed research and audit:
- The two graduate colleague accompany the research work on the dissertation. They serve the methodological and theoretical reflection and the sharing of research results.
Free choice subjects:
- preferably from neighbouring disciplines; foreign languages, particularly if the regional specialization is necessary;
Dissertation and final exams:
written work, even in the form of a scientific film, scientific audio-visual and multimedia products, or an exhibition (both scientific Accompanying) commissioned audit includes
- Theories and methods of the Global History
- the selected regions in the global history and
- Global issues of history
Professional fields:
- Activities in public law organized national, European and international and commercial areas, for example Diplomatic service, international organisations, development and human rights work, education and science policy, etc.
