Educational requirements: The equivalent of a Dutch Bachelor of Arts in English studies.
Language requirements: IELTS (minimum score: 6.5), CAE, minimum score: A; CPE, minimum score: B.
Objectives: The MA programme in English Language and Culture prepares students for postgraduate studies, careers in secondary education, publishing, journalism, translation, the civil service and information technology.
Subjects: Literature and linguistics. The actual courses offered change each year, for more information you can visit our website.
Modes of instruction: Seminars and tutorials with supervision by specialists devoted to the in-depth study of a variety of topics. Supervised individual research resulting in a thesis. All classes are taught in small groups, with a maximum of 20 students.
