Course overview
The criminology pathway allows you to explore the development of criminology, its range of perspectives and their applications to specific areas of crime and criminal justice, including comparisons with the experiences of different countries. Throughout all three years there is a wide range of optional courses from other applied social sciences pathways, with increasing specialisation in criminology. Introductory year one offers a range of optional courses. In year three you will write a dissertation linked to criminology, on a research topic of your choice.

- A levels: BBB, plus GCSE mathematics grade C (an additional AS level may be taken into consideration)
- IB: 32 points, 15 at higher level
