Objectives: This specialisation is for foreign and Dutch law students who wish to specialise during the last phase of their studies in the field of European law. Focuses on various areas of European law such as human rights, the internal market & the union’s external relations both from a substantive and institutional law perspective. Aims to equip students for a future career as a European law expert.
Subjects: Introduction to EU Law; European protection of human rights; internal market; area of freedom, security and justice; the union in the world; competition law or constitutionalism; final thesis.
Modes of instruction: Lectures, seminars, research assignments, oral presentations, master's thesis.
