The programme comprises 30 SWS (hours per week) at the most. Students have to agree with the supervising professor on what courses / lectures are to be taken. Students must attend basic lectures in Civil Law, Public Law and Criminal Law of at least 4 SWS each. Furthermore, they have to attend at least one seminar.
At the end of the studies, students will be familiar with the foundations of the German legal system and they will be able to deal with a chosen legal problem with academic rigour.
