About the programme

This new programme provides a unique experience if you seek a critical and creative approach to the interaction of law and business.

You will have the opportunity to gain a qualifying law degree and to study the legal context affecting the structures and conduct of businesses. These involve not only the rights and duties of managers and employees but also their relations with competitors, together with environmental and ethical constraints. Today’s globalised, interdependent, highly technological and rapidly changing business environment presents many challenges. This programme will help you understand the ideas and theories that lie at the heart of management thinking so you can develop forward-looking ways of analysing organisations and their behaviour.

Admission requirments

A level

• Typical offer: AAB
• Specific entry requirements: GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics, at grade B

International Baccalaureate

• Typical offer range: 36 points overall

English language requirements

• IELTS 6.5 overall and not less than 6.0 in both the Listening and Writing sections.
• Internet-based TOEFL with 90 overall, including at least 24 in Speaking and 25 in Writing.
• The University also accepts a range of other qualifications:
  • GCSE or IGCSE English as a first language: grade C.
  • GCSE English or IGCSE as a second language: grade B.
  • Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English (CAE): grade B.
  • Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): grade C.
  • Cambridge English Language 1119: between grades 1 and 6.
