About the programme

The MA in Literature and Culture 1700-1900 provides an opportunity to focus upon work in both the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries or to concentrate more fully upon a shorter time-period within them. While the focus is on literary texts it is an interdisciplinary programme, and the options investigate various aspects of the interactions between literature and other contemporary cultural forms and intellectual debates.
