About the programme

Construction management is the science and art of procuring and directing human and physical resources for the successful and prudent realisation of a construction project, ensuring that the enterprise meets the desires of the client, the requirements of the budget, and the quality of the specification.

Career opportunities

Career opportunities exist in community-based agencies, regeneration partnerships, voluntary-sector organisations, housing and social care. Government social policies and community-based initiatives are creating new forms of action and service provision, and require more people with knowledge of organising at community level and in partnership projects. There are also opportunities within small businesses and self employment.

Admission requirments

Candidates will be expected to have 80 UCAS tarrif points, however mature candidates will be considered on an individual basis.
Entry is possible in both semester A & B.
There is also a language requirement that If English is not the candidates first language, they require an English language skills test to be taken with a successful outcome of an overall IELTS score of 5.5 with no skill level below 5.0.
