Course description

The course "International Management "at the HTW provides an excellent basis to take advantage of opportunities in later professional practice. It offers detailed insights into key issues of corporate governance at home and abroad. The master 's degree also opens up access to higher service in the career civil servants in Germany.

The curriculum focuses on the key areas of business management. These include International Strategic Management, International Production and Operations Management , International Accounting and Financial Management , International Marketing and Human Resource Management, and International Law and Taxation.

Lectures , case studies , workshops and business simulations to develop the skills of the students in the fields of management and intercultural communication.

Admission requirments

Admission to the Master 's degree are as follows:

• The basic requirement is a first professional degree in a business-oriented degree program that was acquired at a recognized university, such as Bachelor or Diploma (FH) in Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
• As an economically oriented course is a study in which at least
  • 36 ECTS credits in modules from the Business Administration / Economics
  • 6 ECTS credits in modules from the law and
  • 12 ECTS credits in modules from mathematics / statistics / market research has been made.
• A further condition for admission to the Master 's program are a good knowledge of English. The required language skills can be demonstrated both by an external test and by an internal test.
