Course Description

Climate protection, the sustainable use of natural resources, ecological product design, social responsibility, future viability, environmental and quality management: catchwords that stand for the challenges of sustainable management.

Coping with these concerns requires well-educated, versatile actors in companies, institutions, and civil society. The new part-time, post-graduate Master of Arts in Sustainability and Quality Management provides a practical and viable way of engaging with these issues. The programme also includes an exam for the TÜV certificate in quality management.

Sustainability and quality management are two areas that, in post-graduate training, not only complement each other perfectly but also offer a wealth of synergies. Company annual reports and the Dow Jones Index for Sustainability provide just two instances of how long-term economic objectives, such as cost efficiency and quality, can only be achieved by taking into consideration ecological and socio-cultural objectives.

Admission Requirements

If you are seeking entry to the MA Sustainability and Quality Management you shall be required to meet the following prerequisites:

• a degree from a university or college or equivalent tertiary level institution
• work experience after the first degree
• foreign students have to provide evidence of good German language skills (equivalent to the DSH exam)
