The Bachelor of Science in Management and Economics is a modern degree with an international focus and a global outlook. This specialist degree program promotes both depth and breadth in undergraduate economics and management studies.
The core courses adopt a rigorously intellectual approach to both subjects, with the theoretical and the applied being welded together. Besides building career relevant skills in business disciplines such as accounting, marketing and trade, the students will develop skills in innovative thinking, effective written and oral communication and team work.
The ISP/Bachelor study program prepares students from all over the world for challenging future responsibilities in the private and public sectors of their economies as well as for graduate studies either at the University of Magdeburg or any other German or international university. Career opportunities cover fields like managerial communication, organisational behaviour, international management, human resource management, or economics, including banking and finance.
International Baccalaureate
Students of the International Baccalaureate would probably be required to achieve a high level of performance in the six core subjects. The submitted IB materials must document the continuous, uninterrupted accomplishment of those six subjects over the last 4 years of schooling.
