MBA in International Business Management: Furtwangen University

About the programme

The full-time MBA at Furtwangen University is a general management MBA. It empowers their students with the knowledge, skills and experience that will prepare them for their careers in the global business world. Various practice-oriented international business courses are designed to offer students a broad and challenging learning experience, while small class sizes enable us to maintain a supportive leaning environment within a unique ‘familiy’ culture.

Curriculum

The program is divided into two semesters. In each semester students need to attend all core courses. Additionally students may take elective courses. Each year there will be variations in elective courses offered.

The group project normally takes the form of a consulting project for a real company. Students work in groups of five. They are jointly required to manage the project from outset through written and oral presentation under the supervision of a professor.

The thesis is a piece of written work prepared on individual or group basis scientifically dealing with a practical business problem. Each thesis is individually supervised by a professor teaching in the related field.

Admission requirments

• An undergraduate degree: with above average performance
• Work experience
  • at least 24 months of relevant professional experience in a business environment
  • following graduation (student internships or jobs can not be considered).
• Proficiency in English: in written and spoken form  as indicated by:

  • IELTS
