This programme develops both theoretical and practical skills in project management, giving you the competencies to plan, monitor, control and deliver successful projects. The programme has relevance to a large number of project work and management roles in fields ranging from IT, construction and industry to local and national government.
This vocational postgraduate degree provides the knowledge base and practical competencies for a successful career in a wide variety of roles, including project/programme manager, project support officer and project worker. It also provides a foundation for further research at postgraduate/doctoral level.
For admission to postgraduate business and management programmes, applicants normally need to have either:
In the case of applicants whose first language is not English, then IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) is required.
Students that apply to enter stages of the programme may be admitted through normal Accreditation of Experiential Learning (AEL) or Accreditation of Certificated Learning (ACL) processes, or through an approved articulation agreement.
