The Mathematics curriculum at Jacobs University is very flexible and allows the students to pursue their personal interests within the vast world of mathematical sciences. Besides the standard courses in calculus, analysis, algebra, etc., we offer a broad selection of specialised courses in pure and applied mathematics. In addition, we link systematic training, from early on, in the classical areas of mathematics with courses on important questions of current mathematical research and with fundamental mathematical insights beyond what can usually be covered in introductory courses.This is achieved, in particular, through individual attention and close contact to each student in the programme.
