Course Description

This programme provides postgraduate instruction in social statistics for students whose interests lie in the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative social science data, or demography.

This programme will suit you if your interests lie in the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative social science data. The pathway meets the training needs of researchers applying social statistics methods in social policy, demography, market research and geography.

The programme is recognised by the ESRC as satisfying postgraduate training course requirements. You will register initially on the PG Dip and, depending on your success and requirements, can continue to work towards the MSc.
