Course Description
In this four year programme you will learn the importance of linkages between engineering and management, acquiring the technical skills to understand, design and manufacture new products and the expertise to manage the process, people and finances.
The first two years of this degree are common with the MEng Mechanical Engineering, followed by specialisation in years three and four through a range of subject themes.
Core modules include: Engineering design, Management, Principles and practice of management science, Accounting and finance for non-specialists, Decision theory, Problem structuring, Information systems management, Project risk management, Operational risk management, Management and organisation, Effective organisation and Industrial law.
In the third and fourth years you will participate in projects, as described in the MEng Mechanical Engineering above.
