Educational requirements: MSc Chemical Engineering / MSc Mechanical Engineering.
Other requirements: Team worker, broad interest, industry-minded.
Objectives: To develop the ability to develop product structures and accompanying processes in industry. Develop the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment which is characteristic for engineers in the process and product industry.
Subjects: First year courses given mainly by people from industry: process design; product design; technical courses; economical courses; personal development courses. Second year: a design project in a company.
Modes of instruction: The courses are given blockwise in terms of oral lectures, case work (assignments). Rounding off the courses by presentations of the assignments.
