Course details
Acute Clinical Practice is for health practitioners wishing to develop and enhance their professional and clinical roles. There are opportunities to study a defined clinical pathway route (see below) or to develop a clinical pathway of study which suits your own personal and professional aspirations.
Completion of a clinical pathway enables practitioners to develop towards specialist practitioner status. The majority of practitioners who undertake these pathways continue to work in the specialist area of practice after completion.
Career and progression opportunities
Previous students are now working in a variety of roles in clinical practice including specialist practitioners, outreach nurses, nurse consultants and lecturer practitioners.
