About the programme
Wageningen University is one of the few universities in Europe with the ability to offer education and research in all fields of food safety. This includes not only technical disciplines such as microbiology and toxicology, but also the legal, economic and communication aspects of food safety. The programme prepares graduates for careers in the food industry, government or consumer organisations, which are the three key players in international food safety management.
The programme is a full-time 2-year programme. The first year of the programme consists entirely of courses. The second year consists of an individual research thesis and an internship.
