Various research groups are involved. Students of this programme can focus on fundamental or applied research, or a combination of both. The degree programme thus offers many possibilities.
The Master’s degree programme in Medical Pharmaceutical Sciences provides excellent preparation for a career in research. Researchers find jobs in a variety of organizations, including universities, academic and general hospitals, governmental and semigovernmental institutions and the pharmaceutical or biomedical industries. This degree programme can also serve as good preparation for other jobs at an academic level, as during the independent research projects you not only learn how to conduct research but also how to cooperate, communicate (orally and in writing) and present and defend your own ideas.
