Educational requirements: University BA with above average grades. BA in theology is not a prerequisite for admission to all fields in the research degree programme.

Language requirements: TOEFL (minimum score: 580 (paper test) or 237 (computer test).); IELTS (minimum score: 6.5 (6.0. for the writing module).), Cambridge EFL: Cambridge Advanced English: B; Cambridge Proficiency in English: C.

Other requirements: Additional work may be required, depending on the field in which the student has graduated, and on the intended specialisation.

Objectives: Students who graduate from our programme will be theologians with specialist knowledge in one of the sub-fields of theology rather than mere specialists in one sub-field.

Subjects: Biblical studies; church history; systematic theology; social sciences / practical theology or religious studies; methodology; philosophy of science.

Modes of instruction: Lectures, tutorials, thesis.
