About the programme

Meteorology deals with physical processes in the atmosphere and their interactions with the soil, vegetation and water on the earth's surface. Chemical interactions also play an important role, especially for air quality. These processes are studied at various scales, ranging from land-atmosphere interactions such as evaporation, to the effects of climate on landscape processes, and even to climate change on a global scale.

Admission requirments

General admission requirements

Students who wish to enrol in a MSc program at Wageningen University must have:

  • at least a BSc degree (or equivalent) in a field of science relevant to the specific program selected;
  • a GPA (Grade Point Average for the BSc study of at least 7 (or 70% of the maximum of the scale);
  • fluency in English, both written and spoken;
  • good skills in mathematics and/or statistics;
  • basic computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; use and structure of the Internet; RSI prevention).
