Program Overview

The German-Turkish Masters Program in Social Sciences (GeT MA) is a unique, interdisciplinary, two-year masters program, which prepares students for international careers in government agencies, NGOs, administration, journalism or research.

The program is operated by the Berlin Graduate School of Social Sciences at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin’s Institute for Social Sciences and the Middle East Technical University’s (METU) Graduate School of Social Sciences in Ankara. Students spend the first year of study at METU before coming to Berlin to finalize their studies. Upon completion of all study requirements, a Dual-Master of Arts in Social Sciences is awarded from both universities.

Application Requirements

Undergraduate degree in a relevant area of study, such as Social Science, Political Science, Sociology, European Studies, History, Public Administration, Public Policy, Law or Economics.
English Proficiency. TOEFL ibt of 79 or equivalent
