Sports Science: University of Vienna

The aim:

• the acquisition of key sportwissenschaftlicher, sportdidaktischer, sportorganisatorischer skills and trainingsspezifischer
• the expertise to solve practical problems in the field of exercise and sport to develop and implement

Compulsory modules:

• Scientific work and project management, basic quantitative and qualitative research methods, sports medicine, physiology and performance performance diagnostics, sports sociology and sports psychology, biomechanics, exercise and sports science computer science, movement and sports education and social and contemporary history of sport, communication, teamwork and group processes, movement and sports education and gender issues, training research and training and nutrition, health, physical activity and training, theory and practice of sports, professional placement, supervision and mentoring;

Optional modules:

• Voting is one of the following modules: health promotion, prevention, rehabilitation and fitness or sports management;
