The central idea and vision for the Master's Degree Program "Communication and Media Engineering" is to educate a scientific elite in the cutting-edge Telecommunication and Digital Media Technologies.
The program provides graduates with the necessary tools for a career in the field of media and communication technology as well in the academic as in the business world.
Academic Qualification:
The prerequisite for an applicant for this program is either a qualified Bachelor or an equivalent degree in the field of Electrical or Media Engineering or a related discipline. In any case a good knowledge in the field of Electrical / Telecommunication or Media Engineering is essential to join the program. An outstanding CGPA is expected.
Software Requirements:
"C" or another imperative/procedural/object-oriented programming language (Java, C++, Pascal, FORTRAN) A prospective student should know how to implement algorithm (bubblesort, quicksort, mergesort) and data structures (queues, stacks, linked lists, graphs).
Language Requirements:
All lectures in the CME-course are held in English. Therefore applicants should have a good proficiency in oral and written communication. This needs to be proved by a TOEFL (minimum score: pBT 550, cBT 213, iBT 79-80) or IELTS (minimum 6.0) score report.
